Tour Cancellation, Postponement & Refund Policy

If your Bhutan tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances on your side, we will refund the tour amount after deducting applicable cancellation charges as outlined below:

Tour Cancellation Charges

• No cancellation charges if notice is received more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival in Bhutan.
• 20% of the tour cost will be deducted if cancellation is made between 30 and 15 days before arrival.
• 30% of the tour cost will be deducted if cancellation is made less than 15 days before arrival.
• 40 % of the cost of the remaining days will be deducted if the tour is cancelled after arrival in Bhutan.

Rescheduling / Postponement / Preponement

• No charges apply for rescheduling, postponing, or preponing your travel dates for your Bhutan tour.

Bhutan Visa Cost & Bhutan SDF (Bhutan Tourism Fee) Refunds

• The visa fee of USD 40 per person is non-refundable once the visa application has been submitted to the Department of Immigration. As your local Bhutan tour operator, we have no control over this fee or its refund policy.
• The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) also known as the Bhutan Tourism Fee is 100% refundable in the event of a tour cancellation. The Department of Immigration refunds the full daily Bhutan SDF regardless of how many days before arrival the tour cancellation is made,and we-your Bhutan tour agent- ensure this refund is passed on transparently to our valued guests.

Drukair & Bhutan Airlines Airfare Refund Policy

If your flight to Bhutan is booked through us, we – as your Bhutan tour operator – strictly follow the official cancellation and refund policies of Drukair and Bhutan Airlines, ensuring full transparency. The Airlines’ refund policies are as follows:

• 90% refund for cancellations made more than 30 days before the first travel date.
• 75% refund for cancellations made 10–29 days before the travel date.
• 50% refund for cancellations made 4–9 days before the travel date.
• No refund for cancellations made less than 3 days before the travel date.

Travel Date Changes (Drukair & Bhutan Airlines)

• Free date changes are allowed if made at least 72 hours before departure.
• For changes made less than 72 hours before departure, a rescheduling fee of USD 25 per ticket
• No show charges of USD50 applies per ticket
